The ideal candidate will help build, maintain, and troubleshoot, the company’s rapidly expanding infrastructure. They will work alongside other engineers to ensure highest levels of performance and ability, and manage any problems that arise.
JD of System Engineer
Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, servers, and virtualization System.
Responsible for the maintenance, Windows Servers, Active Directory, DNS on premise & Cloud based Servers.
Responsible for ZK Attendance Servers, Access Control Systems of Company.
Responsible for capacity, storage planning, and database performance.
Responsible for Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues.
Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure
Perform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures
Lead desktop and helpdesk support efforts, making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions.
Perform server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services, research event log warnings and errors, and resource monitoring, ensuring system architecture components work together seamlessly
Monitor datacenter health using preexisting management tools and respond to hardware issues as they arise; help build, test, and maintain new servers as needed
Interact with the IT Support Team, Network Team, Cybersecurity Team, ERP Team and other teams to assist in troubleshooting, identify root cause, and provide technical support when needed.
Perform routine/scheduled audits of the systems, including all backups.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in IT or Computer Science
Proven work experience in IT with 6-8 years.
IT Certifications MCSE, Microsoft Azure & VMware.
Excellent Communications skills.
Decision making ability.
Cybersecurity and Analytical skills.
