Carry out quality assessment measures of all the incoming raw materials in GCI Stores and outgoing products on board the vessel.
Inspecting output samples using industry-appropriate methods, such as comparing to standards, measuring dimensions and examining functionality
Take a thorough look at the Drawings, Purchase Order, Delivery Notes and other specifications to understand the product requirements.
Reject all the incoming raw materials that fails to meet quality expectations and report the issue to the concerned department at the earliest.
Resolving quality-related issues adhering to deadlines.
Prepare documentations of the inspection process, which includes detailed reports and performance records of the Suppliers.
Recommend improvement measures to the production process to ensure quality control standards are met.
Guide the production team about the quality control issues to enhance the quality of the product.
Monitor the production phase at various levels.
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Real-time experience in FRP Lamination practices is preferred
Good written and communication skills
Good documentation and presentation skills
Good knowledge of Microsoft office
Profound knowledge of quality control standards
Must have a bachelor’s degree.
