We are looking for QC Inspector to join our team. The successful candidate should possess a Minimum of Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Shall have additional Certification in AWS CWI or CSWIP, BGAS or NACE, NDT (Level II in RT, UT, PT, MT & RTFI) and at least 6 years’ experience in fabrication/manufacturing industries dealing with pressure vessels, heat exchangers, drums, storage tanks, reactors, etc.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Prepare ITP for the job.
2. Inspection of incoming materials & customer supplied material.
3. In process inspection including welding inspection, NDE, Pressure test and its control.
4. Preparation of NDE and work procedures.
5. Preparation / Developing of welding procedure specification and establishing PQR’s .
6. Preparation and update the of Welder master list, ID card, welder continuity record & Maintain the welder rejection rate performance.
7. Preparation, resolution and disposition of NCR’s for non-confirming products.
8. Arranging calibration of Measuring Equipment and updating their calibration status.
9. Final inspection and testing of products.
10. Inspection at supplier’s place.
11. Coating inspection & Preparation of Protective coating inspection reports.
12. Coordinate with Internal / External QMS Auditor, AI, client Inspector & 3rd party.
13. Prepare & compile the QA/QC dossier with as built drawings.
14. Raise the PR related to QA/QC activities.
Skills & Competencies
1. Candidates should have experience in Piping, Pressure vessels, Heat exchangers and Boilers fabrication shop as a QC Inspector.
2. Shall be conversant with international codes such as ASME, TEMA, etc.
3. Shall have knowledge in Heat Treatment, NDT, Hydrotest, Pneumatic test, surface preparation, Painting / Coating and Galvanizing.
4. Shall have exposure to ISO-9001: 2008 or 2015 Quality Management system an internal quality audit / External Audit and ASME U,U2,S & R Stamp certification Audit.
5. Previous Saudi Aramco or Sabic Experience is Preferable and shall be familiar with their specification / standards.
