The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and supervising the work of employees in the general maintenance and upkeep of buildings, grounds, and equipment. He’s also responsible for maintaining electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and related systems
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
1- Train and manage maintenance personnel who maintain and repair electrical, plumbing, ventilation and other building systems.
2- Evaluates problematic systems or facilities and determines what installation or repair services need to be performed.
3- Organizes schedules, and assign work activity.
4- Performs trainings to ensure individuals have all the requisite skills.
5- Assists in the development and implementation of maintenance procedures and maintaining personnel records.
6- Evaluates each worker’s performance to ensure quality operations.
7- Completes maintenance jobs in accordance with the highest standards of efficiency.
8- Streamlines associated repair costs and job execution.
9- Ensures prompt repairs by responding to emergency breakdowns.
10- Supplies reporting to the senior maintenance supervisor on repair jobs including consumption of tools, materials, man hours and skills.
11- Reviews equipment history files.
12- Ensures accurate recorded histories in work order completions.
13- Reports maintenance performance during major overhauls.
14- Develop and execute training plan for maintenance workers.
15- Provides grievance counseling when required.
16- Assigns and reassigns work as per emergencies and plant priorities.
17- Makes sure that maintenance jobs are in accordance with all company policies and the country’s legislated regulations.
18- Ensures housekeeping, productivity, and quality of work standards are maintained, most especially within the mechanical maintenance department.
19- Aims and strives to achieve 98% reliability on all maintenance jobs.
20- Investigates, provides and implements corrective measures for near misses and all safety incidents.
Educational Requirements

The Maintenance Supervisor would be spending most of his time (80%) travelling between projects at his area and is therefore often faced with harsh weather conditions. (Saudi Arabia Weather)
He would spend part of his day at the office for reports, emails, schedules and timesheets preparation
