The Corporate Communications Manager is expected to help create and promote IFZA’s corporate identity and mission to clients, the public, and employees through the creation and distribution of brochures, news releases, and other documents. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a creative storyteller, copywriter, and content creator with a good understanding of corporate brand tonality and how to convey messages across marketing channels. Further the role will require the candidate to be experienced in relationship management and networking.

Main responsibilities

Overseeing and producing, from concept to completion, a broad array of digital and/or print promotional and communication materials for IFZA
Ensuring that all materials present a clear, unified, and positive image for IFZA
Developing creative and innovative copy that is relevant, culturally appropriate, and connects with our global target audience
Planning, preparing, and distributing all corporate communication materials in a variety of formats including, but not limited to, press releases, media invites, opinion editorials, speeches, talking points, digital copy, features, bios, and other communication material such as corporate/business presentations, etc.
Promoting and attending special events and functions
Arranging for photography and/or press coverage for special events
Promoting and reporting on corporate milestones and activities such as company goals and projects, new products or services, community service activities, and new hires, promotions, and retirements
Efficiently managing deadline-oriented workflow of requests from various departments on a daily basis
Contributing to the development of campaigns at brainstorming sessions
Building strong relationships and networks with new and existing internal and external stakeholders
Monitoring the media, including newspapers, magazines, journals, broadcasts, newswires, social media sites, and blogs
Experience

Tertiary education in Communications, Journalism, or other relevant subjects
Proven work experience in Corporate Communications or similar
Minimum 4 years’ experience in communications, journalism, publications, or public relations in the UAE
Qualifications & Skills

Full English proficiency is required
Excellent grammar, editing, writing, re-writing, and proofreading skills
Excellent verbal / written communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Intermediate computer literacy is required e.g., MS Office
Good knowledge of target markets and competitors
