The Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISE) at the King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) invites applications for multiple lecturer positions. KFUPM seeks to attract exceptional candidates with interests and expertise in the area of Data Science, predominantly in the following topics:
· Data Handling, Regression, Classification, and Clustering
· Time Series Analysis
The candidates are expected to:
· Demonstrate teaching experience
· Have experience with a programming language, preferably Python and Jupyter notebooks
· Possess excellent communication skills
Successful candidates are expected to:
· Engage in high-quality teaching and fulfill the teaching requirements of the department (teach courses and develop lab activities at the undergraduate level)
· Take advantage of the most recent advancements in their area of study, and incorporate those advancements into the courses that they will teach
· Initiate and maintain research activities/projects with faculty members that result in peer-reviewed articles in high-impact professional journals
· Participate in service by being active in the life of the department and university, including development of the program, and other duties as needed
