The Role

The Position will be reporting to the Director or Marketing & Marketing Manager. The goal is to gradually achieve superior customer engagement and intimacy, website traffic and revenue by strategically exploiting all aspects of the social media marketing roadmap. The Social media specialist should have a solid understanding of how each social media channel works and how to optimize content so that it is engaging on those channels.

What you will do

Actively contribute to devising the MPC Business Units’ social media strategy, steer best practices in digital user experience and content through industry best practices and analytic data.
Building up social media strategy best practices in the area of digital user experience and content through industry best practices and analytic data.
Drive the brand through all communications and channels – maximizing MPC Business Units’ reputation, awareness, and reach through innovative digital & internal marketing approaches.
Develop specific social media campaigns to create and maintain high levels of customer interaction.
Working with your line manager to develop social media marketing campaigns.

Social Media Performance Management

Tracking conversion rates and making improvements to MPC Business Units’ social media campaign.
Developing and managing MPC Business Units’ content marketing campaigns, working closely with sales, operations, marketing team, and third-party influencer/agencies.
Utilizing a range of techniques including paid search and social media.
Evaluating customer research, market conditions, and competitor data.
Enhance analytic tools use and understanding, placing metrics at the heart of everything we do across social media network.
Lead analytic use and best practice approach.
Develop KPI structure for digital performance review.
Identifying new business opportunities to reach new market segments and expand market share.
Forecast social media campaign performance trends and act proactively to increase our market segment.
Curating strategic direction for all social media channels.
Focus exclusively on social media channels like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Snapchat, Google Business, Pinterest, LinkedIn, etc.
Online Brand Management.
Managing online brand image, reputation, and services campaigns to raise brand awareness.
Ensure adherence to and implementation of the above across our digital infrastructures and in all copy and content creation, adhering to appropriate sign-off procedures.
Review new social media tools/technologies and keep the MPC Business Units’ at the forefront of digital marketing and experience developments.
Effective social media roadmap development and delivery that brings about effectiveness and efficiencies.
Oversee social media metrics to provide insight into social and content performance as well as brand empathy.
Continually review changes to the market, consumer trends, and the activities of competitors, adjusting the social media content marketing plan if necessary.
Manage and improve online content, considering SEO and Google Analytics.
Ensure MPC Business Units’ brand message is strong and consistent across all social media channels.
Utilize data for social media marketing campaigns; cross-examine databases and external data.
What you must have

A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related discipline is required

Great interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in the use of MS Office and Social Media Tools
Good communication skills in both Arabic and English

Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have the wit and humor to quickly respond to comments and engage with the audience
Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
Experience with doing audience and buyer persona research
Good understanding of social media KPIs
