Finance Treasury Manager Jobs in Oman
Main Accountabilities:
Critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources. Reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information to details, and abstract up from low-level information to develop a general understanding.
Execute, coordinate and prepare the submission of treasury reporting packs and presentation regularly to internal and external customers/Stakeholders.
Work with treasury risk committee to a set of performance measurement metrics for every Treasury activity and independently report them to the Risk Committee
Ensure all treasury reports are accurate, complete, and delivered on-time. Ensure work meets quality standards and deadlines.
Ensure that Treasury complete and accurate information is received, analyzed and communicated on a timely basis.
Provide analytical and/or market intelligence support to various functions in Treasury.
Develop KPIs for Treasury activities and independently report and analyze them.
Coordinate, maintain and improve Strategic Funding Plan and maintain related models.
Develop and maintain a Treasury reporting database.
Provide input into budget preparations. Monitor and report the actual spend against budget and forecast variances.
Ensure timely and accurate reporting of treasury trial balance and disclosures on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
Perform GL reconciliations and management.
Stay updated regarding the latest financial and economic news for the country and the region.
Promote and encourage continuous learning and development among team members including knowledge sharing activities.
Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies, systems, processes, procedures, and controls. Continuously identify and recommend improvements while ensuring compliance with the group guidelines, international/local standards, and relevant legislation.
Cash flow Management: Ensure OMF has adequate liquid resources to meet any short term demands, to optimize the use of cash resources, and to reduce cost of financing, while giving due attention to areas of treasury risk. Manages the efficient treasury – cash surplus, in order to improve profitability through good fund management.
Experience :
10+ years of experience having specialized in finance with at least 5 years in a similar position
Educational Requirement:
Bachelor degree in Finance, Economy, or relevant
Professional accounting qualification such as CA/ACCA/CPA/ CFA/CMA/CIMA or relevant postgraduate qualification
