Business Development Manager

Our client is looking to hire an OMANI Business Development Manager for their company. The ideal candidate will be reporting to Chief Sales and Marketing Officer. The person will be directly responsible in building market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating and closing new business relationships whilst managing the assigned key account (s), maintaining a long term effective relationship with the client(s) and maximizing sales opportunities with them.

Responsibilities

Responsible in managing the assigned key account by maintaining a superior level customer relationship whilst maximizing the sales opportunities with them
Expanding the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives
Monitor the competitor activities and accordingly device out the appropriate sales strategies to retain existing customer base and grab new business possibilities in the market
Engage in regular market research to analyse the changing fashion trends and accordingly engage with the Management to develop strategies to cater to those changes (e) Ensure prospecting calls, appointments, business proposals, quotations and presentations are submitted/completed on time
Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly achievements and initiatives to the Management and other relevant stake holders in terms of sales targets, collections, new business developments etc.
Responsible for an effective new client on-boarding by providing excellent customer services thereby leveraging opportunities for generating sales
Engage in price negotiations with internal and external customers to ensure both company and clients get the best results
Execution of strategies in order to maintain customer relations, customer development activities and retention of existing customers by conducting regular customer satisfaction surveys and addressing of customers complaints and suggestions in an effective way
Responsible for carrying out tender submission through adopting off line & On-line e-tendering methodology / electronic submission of Tenders and Bids. Preparation of reports, cost analysis, negotiations and closure of deal

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Minimum 7 years related business development experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills (English & Arabic)
Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
Focused and goal-oriented
