Position: Oracle EBS DBA Monthly Support
Type: On-site / Off-site
Contract: 12 Months (extendable)
The Oracle EBS DBA Monthly Support responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
• Manage the environment of multiple DB instances at Primary and at the DR Site
• Migrate customizations/reports to the production environment
• Prepare and implement a backup strategy and test all the recovery scenario
• Perform cloning of production to the TEST/DEV instance
• Ability to support technical team whenever required
• Troubleshoot and fix Oracle DB and applications issues on a 24/7 basis.
• Tune Oracle DB/applications performance
• Provide Daily Health Check Report for Oracle through email
• Apply Ad hoc patches for any bugs fixes
• Apply Security Advisory patches every quarter, or as announced by Oracle
• Upgrade of Oracle EBS whenever requested by OIA
• Regular interaction with the technical team, Unix Administrators, Network Administrators, Application Users – all are belonging to different departments and divisions to ensure the smooth running of the applications.
• Attend DR site tests activity whenever performed, on need basis
• Worked on Oracle Security Tools (Masking, Audit Vault, Database vault, Encryption etc).
• Worked on SSO (Single sign on) and ZSO (Zero Sign on)
• Convert Single Node to Multi Node and Multi Node to Single Node whenever required
Required Skills
• At least five years of Oracle DBA experience in (11g or 12c). Experience in Database 19C
• Able to perform daily Health Check for the Primary Database at Head Office and standby database at DR site.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
