Job Summary:
As a Satellite System Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining satellite systems. You will be working in a team of engineers to ensure the efficient and effective operation of satellite systems, including managing the lifecycle of the systems, resolving technical issues, and improving system performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain satellite systems
Ensure efficient and effective operation of satellite systems
Manage the lifecycle of satellite systems, including planning, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
Resolve technical issues related to satellite systems
Improve the performance of satellite systems through testing and optimization
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of satellite systems with other systems and technologies
Conduct research on emerging satellite technologies and incorporate them into the design of satellite systems
Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining satellite systems
Strong knowledge of satellite system architecture, including satellite buses, payloads, and ground stations
Experience with satellite system testing, integration, and deployment (St Engineering Dialogue HUB)
Expertise in satellite system performance optimization
Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with satellite system software development and programming languages (St Engineering Dialogue HUB)
Knowledge of satellite system regulatory requirements and international standards (St Engineering Dialogue HUB)
Familiarity with satellite system simulation and modeling tools (St Engineering Dialogue HUB)
Experience with satellite system cybersecurity and risk management (St Engineering Dialogue HUB)
