Recruitment and Selection:

Determine staffing needs and create comprehensive job descriptions.
Utilize various sourcing methods to attract qualified candidates, such as job boards, social media, and professional networks.
Arrange interviews, assess candidate qualifications, and coordinate the selection process.
Assist in conducting reference checks and background screenings.
Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including paperwork, orientation, and introductions to company policies.

Employee Relations:

Provide guidance and support to resolve employee conflicts and disputes.
Promote a positive work environment by implementing employee engagement initiatives.
Conduct employee surveys to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
Assist in developing and implementing employee recognition programs.

HR Policies and Procedures:

Update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
Communicate and educate employees on HR policies, ensuring understanding and adherence.
Provide guidance and clarification to employees and management on policy interpretation and application.

Performance Management:

Coordinate performance appraisal documentation and track performance-related data.

HR Administration:

Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases, including personnel information, benefits, and leave records.
Process employee documentation, such as employment contracts, offer letters, and employment verification letters.
Manage employee benefits administration, including enrolments, changes, and inquiries.
Coordinate and track employee leave, attendance, and time-off requests.
Ensure data privacy and confidentiality in handling employee information.

Training and Development:

Maintain training records and track employee participation and completion.
Support the implementation of development initiatives, including career and succession plans.
Collaborate with managers and the HR team to assess training effectiveness and make improvements as needed.

Compliance and Reporting:

Stay updated on labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices to ensure compliance.
Prepare and submit HR-related reports, such as headcount, turnover, and training metrics.
Assist in audits and investigations related to HR practices.
Ensure the organization’s practices align with diversity, equity, and inclusion principles.

HR Support and Assistance:

Assist in resolving employee relations issues, disciplinary actions, and performance concerns.
Participate in HR projects and initiatives, such as policy revisions, process improvements, or HR system implementations.
Stay abreast of HR trends and industry developments to bring innovative ideas and solutions to the organization.
