We are currently looking for a HR officer for one of our multinational clients in Oman. The HR Officer is responsible for accomplishing results in an effort to drive the delivery of day-to-day HR support in coordination with the Regional HR Manager.

The overall objective of this role is to ensure the seamless delivery of HR services like recruitment and onboarding, performance management, compensation and benefits, training & development needs, employee relations. The HR Officer is the primary person driving the delivery of HR support in Oman.

Executing the daily workflow of day-to-day tasks related to HR in Oman
Performance evaluations
Assisting with fair recruitment, facilitating the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions, collaborating with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for local openings
Generating official internal documents, including offer letters, promotion letters, and salary slips
Onboarding new-hires, coordinating with all departments to deliver an exceptional first-day experience
Coordinating employee development plans and performance management
Assisting the Regional HR Manager in development and implementation of local HR policies, procedures, and programs.
Executing the payroll processes

Qualification requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field and/or equivalent experience. Additional HR training is beneficial
Proven experience as an HR Generalist
In-depth knowledge of Omani Employment / Labor Law is mandatory
