A newly established closed Omani joint stock company seeks to hire a General Manager with experience and vitality in the field of real estate development, marketing and financing related to these projects. Must have the ability to lead in the development & investment in various fields such as multi-use tourism facilities.

Role and Responsibilities:

Manage the company and develop its business in the areas as stipulated in the company’s articles of incorporation. The GM will be responsible for the following tasks:

Provide an action plan to develop the company business
Suggest the priorities of the projects to be implemented
Management, follow-up and implementation of the company operations
Contracting with public institutions and companies in the implementation of projects
Identify additional sources for project financing
Marketing the company projects
Suggest partnerships with regional and international institutions to develop the company business
Prepare and submit an annual work plan and budget to the Board of Directors for approval
Prepare and submit periodic reports on the company activity and financial status to the Board of Directors
Presenting quarterly and audited accounts to the Board of Directors
Prepare for the meetings of the General Assembly, the Board of Directors, and the Board’s committees on a regular basis, sending agenda items, and implementing the Board’s decisions and directives
Ensure compliance with the laws and regulations governing the company work
Representing the company with government and private agencies inside and outside the Sultanate
Other tasks as directed by the Board of Directors

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably civil or architectural) with a high university qualification in business administration from reputable universities
Minimum10 years of experience in real estate development, project management and organizing commercial contracts in the Arab Gulf region
Leadership skills, effective communication and maturity in corporate executive functions
