To continue operating at our high standards and to promote our market presence, we’re seeking a general manager who’s a born leader. This person should have experience in overseeing all business operations including finance and human resources. The ideal candidate will be an expert communicator who has a strong ability to lead, delegate, and collaborate across a range of disciplines. Ultimately, the general manager should be driven by a desire to lead our business to maximum productivity, efficiency and growth.
Objectives of this role
· Develop a strategic long-term plan for optimized sales, performance and profitability.
· Promote company image, market presence and market share
· Secure opportunities for expansion and growth by developing new business streams and relationships
· Strengthen organizational effectiveness by improving processes and establishing a highly motivational work environment.
· Strengthen company standards of excellence and quality
Responsibilities
· Oversee daily business operations.
· Develop and implement growth strategies.
· Develop and manage budgets and resource plans
· Evaluate performance and productivity.
· Analyse accounting and financial data and plan finances
· Research and identify growth opportunities.
· Hiring employees.
· Effectively report to Directors/stakeholders
· Provide discipline, guidance and support to staff
Required skills and qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in business management or engineering
· Proven success in a similar managerial role
· Strong work ethic.
· Proven ability to develop and achieve strategic & financial plans
· Excellent leadership skills with a strong decision-making ability
· Excellent communication, collaboration, and delegation skills
· Ability to motivate and lead employees, and hold them accountable
· Knowledge of ISO Quality & HSE management
Preferred skills and qualifications
· Knowledge of Middle East and International business markets & operations
