The GM- Industrial Solutions is accountable for achieving revenue targets and reporting on performance, developing opportunities and overseeing the business unit

Responsibilities

BUSINESS OBJECTIVES:

Manage human, financial, and commercial resources to ensure that branches are supported and the budget, among other key financial and forward looking (prospective) metrics of the branches, are actively flowing according to expectations.
Work closely with the Branch Managers, the General Manager regularly reviews the sales performance within the branch, guides and motivates the teams and other support staff in meeting their objectives & targets.
Manage inventory to mitigate dead stock increases and fast-moving stock availability among various MRO suppliers.

SALES AND MARKETING:

Maintain close contact with industry, suppliers, as well as other measures to secure forward looking opportunities while building upon market intelligence to establish and fulfil customer needs to assist the direction of the business.
Regular assess branches and performance across all areas to ensure the achievement and maintenance of standards.
Liaise with marketing regarding trade show potential. Provide guidance to Product specialist in respect to market information needed, product sales evaluation, and supplier presentation related to the associated manufacturers products
CUSTOMER SATISFACTION:

Investigate and follow up customer complaints and associated improvements.
Determine the issues and deliberate with branch managers to rectify where required.
Ensure strict implementation of standards and conformance to ISO established procedures.
HUMAN RESOURCES:

Recruit, evaluate and develop staff to ensure the required standards are met and maintained

Requirements

• Able to manage time effectively and efficiently given various aspects of the business

• Minimum of 7-10 years’ experience in the field of maintenance, repair and overhaul– preferably related to Hydraulics, spare parts , Parker , sealing , hoses , Bearing , ……etc

• BA or MA in Business, Finance or Marketing and/or Mechanical Engineer with Commercial/Sales experience

• Minimum of 7-10 years’ experience in Saudi Arabia or GCC Market

• Minimum of 7-10 years’ experience in a General Manager/Sales Managerial role
