Lead Engineer Offshore Job Vacancy In Dubai
Multi discipline design lead engineer for offshore oil & gas (fixed and floating) and renewable projects.
Responsibilities
ü Execution of multi discipline design (FEED and Detail Engineering) for EPC scope of work.
ü Act as engineering manager in offshore EPC projects.
ü Should have background in offshore structural engineering
ü Prepare and review engineering studies, design drawings and documents.
ü Prepare materials / equipment technical specifications.
ü Prepare engineering execution plan for offshore projects.
ü Plan multidiscipline engineering deliverables / activities.
ü Support and assist with proposals, including EPC bidding.
ü Integrate Contractor’s engineering team in detail design work.
ü Define and manage the scope of work for engineering consultant companies.
ü Experience with procurement process and integration of vendor information in design documents.
ü Manage the design team, procurement engineer and coordinate with commercial estimator to work out optimized technical solution and cost.
ü Define and manage the scope of work for EPC contractor engineering team
ü Perform constructability review during design phase.
ü Manage changes from clients /vendors and engineering company.
ü Review contracts and define Scope of work.
Qualifications /Competencies
ü Master of Science Degree in related engineering discipline.
ü Minimum of 15 Years’ Experience in offshore Industry.
ü In-depth knowledge of offshore engineering design for fixed and floating structures.
ü Strong background in offshore structural engineering
ü In depth knowledge of applicable rules and regulations including technical safety requirements.
ü Experience in engineering consultant companies to lead FEED and Detail Engineering
ü Experience as engineering manager in offshore EPC contractors organizations.
ü Experience in North Sea oil and gas offshore and wind farm projects.
ü Experience in FPSO topside projects.
ü Project management skills.
ü Contract management skills.
ü Excellent communication skills.
ü Highly motivated team player.
