Role of Consumer Marketing Manager
Responsible for managing new and existing projects through leading the weekly delivery team meetings.
Responsible for launch plans and execution with team members. Set distribution and sales objectives, monitor and track performance for one full cycle. Recommend improvement action steps when needed.
Develop and present detailed retail audit analysis reports for all existing categories / brands vs. competition and propose the recommended actions and potential improvements.
Conduct the requested retail audit studies, and market analysis for competition for all new potential categories.
Conduct competitive pricing, packaging, and placement surveys for the competition of existing brands as well as scoping potential segments that the company may penetrate.
Liaising with the regional creative team all social media-related tasks and providing monthly updates to the management.
Develop monthly campaigns with creative department featuring highlights of the month. Execute, assess, and recommend improvement plans.
Provide qualitative and quantitative analysis covering consumer behavior, brand performance, and competitors’ performance to assist the company in correctly assessing the health of the categories and brands.
Identify new developments and improvement opportunities required in existing products to maintain competitiveness through market analysis reports.
Conducts regular visits to market to evaluate brands performance and monitor the execution of all aspects related to the product development cycle such as delivery team meetings, pricing, packaging, and communication.
Maintains close coordination with all concerned departments with regards to the brand projects and plans.
Provide a macro view on the forecasting process and to align team member on performance goals of the categories.
Manage and control direct subordinates – if any – to ensure that they are appropriately motivated and trained and perform their responsibilities to the required standards.
Maintains close coordination with the external agencies (advertising agencies, social media agencies, events agencies, retail audit agency, consumer research agencies, etc..) to ensure proper support is maintained.
Proposes the annual brand Consumer Marketing budgets and is directly responsible for the budget spending as per approved plan.
Ensure the proper implementation of the national support calendar.
Track analyze and report on customers’ trend / behavior and competitors’ activities by brand through field visits and through timely report.
Playing a key role in project planning and execution, collaborating with senior stakeholders to align on strategy, goals, and success criteria
Planning and managing scope, deliverables, resources, schedule, and budget required to enable the desired business outcomes.
Ensuring delivery partners are across business drivers to manage the work within the project timeframes and budget
Identifying and escalating risks and issues at the appropriate forums and devising mitigation strategies.
Identify risks, threats or opportunities that could impact the success of the project, notifying the team and escalating issues when appropriate
Developing financial feasibility reports with the finance department to ensure the project is profitable and meets the company’s financial targets
