We’re seeking a talented and versatile Designer with exceptional 2D animation skills to join our team. As a Designer specializing in 2D animation, you’ll create visually stunning layouts and produce engaging animated videos. Your video editing expertise will be crucial in delivering high-quality content across various platforms.
Responsibilities
Develop visually appealing layouts for digital and print media, including websites, social media, marketing materials, and presentations.
Create captivating 2D animations that effectively convey key messages and storytelling elements.
Collaborate with the team to conceptualize and storyboard animation projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and brand guidelines.
Design characters, assets, backgrounds, and visual elements for animations using your artistic skills.
Apply animation principles and techniques to bring static designs to life with fluid motion, transitions, and visual effects.
Integrate animations seamlessly with audio, video, and graphic elements.
Execute video edits and post-production tasks to refine and enhance the quality of animated videos.
Stay updated with industry trends, software advancements, and animation techniques to continually improve skills and bring fresh ideas to the team.
Collaborate with stakeholders and clients, gathering feedback and making necessary revisions for outstanding results.
Manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Designer with a strong focus on 2D animation, demonstrated by an impressive portfolio.
Proficiency in industry-standard design and animation software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects), Toon Boom Harmony, or similar tools.
Strong understanding of design principles, layout composition, color theory, and typography.
Solid knowledge of animation principles, timing, and motion dynamics.
Excellent video editing skills, creating compelling visual narratives with cuts, transitions, and audio synchronization.
Attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, working effectively in a team environment and conveying ideas and concepts.
Knowledge of 3D animation or related skills (illustration, motion graphics, visual effects) is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in design, animation, or a related field preferred, but equivalent professional experience will be considered.
