System Engineer Job Vacancy In Qatar
. Education Qualification:
? Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer / Software Engineering
? Preferably having Certificates on Standard Energy IP8x Implementation Course &
Custom Energy IP Course
b. Experience:
? Minimum 7 years’ experience in technical field as IT/Systems engineer, preferably
in Utility domain with relevant experience in monitoring and troubleshooting of
multiple systems.
? Most recent hands-on experience (at least 3 years) with AMI applications- Head End
Systems, Meter Data Management systems (Siemens EnergyIP) doing installations,
configuration, and O&M.
? Experience in managing Asset Management Center operations related to AMI
system
? Leads and develops end-to-end technical solutions with regards deployment of
smart metering techniques and Meter Data Management (MDM) solutions
? Experience in planning, design, and installation of AMI technology using knowledge
of engineering and programming as well as sophisticated instruments and
computers.
Preferred skills include a strong understanding of networking and associated radio
technologies (RF), electrical engineering and field network deployment experience.
? Experience with IoT wireless Technologies such as LPWANS, Wi-fi, Event Stream
Processing etc.
? Experience with IPv6 highly desirable;
? Proficiency in database technologies- administration and monitoring, & associated
querying languages for Oracle, PostgreSQL, Cassandra.
? Strong organizational development skills to facilitate change management and a
strong customer focus.
? Working knowledge of Oracle middleware- SOA.
? Strong experience in Advance Metering Infrastructure is required.
? Strong management experiences in Project, Manpower and Data management
? Written and Spoken Arabic & English are essential
