Summary:
Responsible for managing Information and Communication systems, and computing and technology resources for the entire organization. Also responsible for determining the needs of the users and ensures that IT department provides the systems that meet the requirements of the Company.
Responsibilities
Oversees administrating and maintaining the security and integrity of the company databases.
Develops and implements policies and procedures for the security and integrity of the company databases.
Define and manage database physical structures and functional capabilities, database security, data back-up, and recovery specifications.
Oversees evaluation of new software and hardware and its compatibility with existing software and hardware in meeting the needs and requirements of company operations.
Oversees and coordinates activities with respect to internal networking service.
Oversees and coordinates activities with respect to data back-up and their safekeeping.
Oversees preparing information system contingency, and disaster recovery plans.
Monitors licenses for the applications and software across the Company.
Oversees and establishes the end user security policy, and communicates it to all the employees across the company.
Assists in the co-ordination with user departments to identify the required information for the company’s web page and verifies the updates to Company’s web site.
Responsible for the co-ordination with the outsourced technology service providers.
Maintains and revises an internet and e-mail user policy.
Monitors the compliance of users to the policy.
Oversee and evaluate the selection of vendors for providing technology related services to the company such as, Internet Service Provider (ISP), maintenance and others.
Coordinates with the ISP in resolving any service problems.
Evaluates performance of subordinates within the IT Department.
Meets with subordinates to discuss progress of work, resolve problems, and ensure that standards for quality and quantity of work are met.
Support branch operations including CCTV operations support.
Adjusts hours of work, priorities, and assignments to ensure efficient operation, based on workload within the department.
Qualifications and Certifications
Bachelor’s Degree with major in computer science, information technology or equivalent education. Additional professional certifications in IT systems and networking are preferable.
Experience
Minimum of 6 years of related experience in similar function and industry.
Microsoft Dynamics experience preferred.
Skills
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and with the staff.
Strong knowledge of systems, networks, applications and latest trends in the IT industry and Computer literacy and knowledge in Office and system applications.
Problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis.
Strong knowledge base and technical skills in financial and cost accounting.
