Qatar based insurance Brokerage Co is looking for an in-house Underwriting professional with experience of 2 – 4 years in a similar position.
Candidate must be:
1- Holder of bachelor degree or higher in insurance
2- Excellent command of English language
3- Can perform independently with minimum supervision
4- Fast learner and excel under pressure
5- Being a member of a professional insurance body is a definite advantage.
Brief job description :
1- Coordinate with sales team / clients for collecting information
2- Draft the insurance slip and share with client for approval
3- Send quotation requests to insurance companies
4- Follow up and receive requested quotations
5- Review quotations received and arrange summary / comparison
6- Based on management instructions / client requirements request revision from insurance companies for quotes received
In addition, the member might be required to assist in reviewing claims requests from clients compared to their existing policies.
