JOB TITLE: Assistant Retail Marketing Manager

Purpose of the
job:
To
closely monitor, manage and develop organized retail business and expand Best
of Bread practice from MENA region in order to ensure better channel management
and consequently improve sell-out and business development
Key Objectives:
Grow the MENA business
by managing the channel and retail strategy execution and building capability
across MENA into a key competitive advantage for company.
Position Responsibilities:
Help developing regional channel (go-to-market) strategy starting
to the retail shop front
Help driving right in-store portfolio management, key account
management; criteria based incentive schemes across channels
Engage with the regional Company teams and distributors to build
the distributor and channel infra/organization capability
Help developing the Company Brand Shops Store Channel
strategy, target, and expansion plan
Setup and keep updating a plan for channel marketing
activities with team / business partners and follow-up execution (retail shop
management)
Responsible for Tracking the retail strategy execution
across MENA markets, but translating the strategy into execution KPIs and
setting scorecard with market targets
Analyze retail data, develop insights and report to
management with actionable recommendations
·Implement, check and maintain Company retail guideline
standards
Actively monitor & report retail market intelligence and
make recommendations to management
·Directly supervise, lead and support field marketing teams
in MENA market
Manage Shelf Share, Golden Location
and other In store performance Indices.
Essential skills and experience:
Competencies:
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following
competencies to perform the essential functions of this position.
* Graduate degree essential
* Business experience in the MENA markets
* Team player with strong engagement skills
including at C-level
* Excellent PC and analytical skills with
experience working with data sets
* At least 5 years of extensive experience in
retail management and or/ sales and marketing in consumer electronics industry.
* Ability to perform and work under different
conditions and in a multicultural team.
* Should have good experience in managing teams
of merchandisers in a retail environment
* Multi-tasking skills essential to cope during
busy and stressful periods
* Good ability to work under pressure
* Should have good experience in managing teams
of merchandisers in a retail environment
* Should act professionally and represent the
company with the highest standards of integrity at all times
* Should be both reliable and determined in
meeting the demands of the company’s retail display standards & objectives.
* Have a genuine interest and knowledge for the
Consumer Electronics industry and business.
Language Skills
* Excellent spoken/written English. Arabic would
be an advantage.
Physical demands and work environment:
* Travel ~20%
* Office environment and on-site visits to
hypermarkets and power retailers.
