We are looking for an Assistant Editor (Features) to manage the daily content flow, generation, management and ideation surrounding lifestyle issues and developments that arise from the daily news cycle, in everything from beauty and mental health to art.
Responsibilities and Requirements
Three to five years of experience in journalism.
Knowledge and experience in lifestyle and news feature journalism, which includes beauty, health, homes, fashion, women’s issues and well-being.
This person would be responsible for generating features, working with the visual desk, coming up with multi-media projects, creating podcasts, online content management and helping in social media promotion.
The person should have experience in a digital newsroom, as part of a news or feature cycle.
The person will be expected to generate and drive long-form storytelling with a proper content plan.
The role requires experience in working collaboratively as part of a team.
It is a full-time role on site and located in Dubai.
